Y5+6 World War 2 Experience Day

For our World War 2 Experience Day, Year 5 and Year 6 loved exploring the WW2 artefacts.They first discussed what they could have been and then used them as inspiration for a drama activity.

They also thoroughly enjoyed a crash course in how to decode WW2 German enigma machine communications! They learnt about Alan Turing's impact on the outcome of the war before decoding messages and creating their own ciphers!
