SCHOOL VISION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are an aspirational school. High expectations are valued at all stages.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • We believe passionately that lessons must be active, creative and challenging to ensure engagement, enjoyment and independent learning.<\/li>\n
  • We work hard to recruit and train forward thinking, creative and energetic staff who are committed to work incredibly hard in a highly effective school.<\/li>\n
  • High quality professional development opportunities are offered to all staff to ensure they can continually improve their practice to achieve this aim.<\/li>\n
  • Learning is celebrated in all its forms. We believe all children have skills, interests, gifts and talents and it is our responsibility to identify, develop and nurture these for them to achieve success.<\/li>\n
  • Reading is a priority, and we foster a love of reading in all that we do. A wide range of enrichment activities enhance our ambitious, well sequenced curriculum developing children\u2019s knowledge and skills across all subjects.<\/li>\n
  • Children\u2019s spiritual, moral, social, cultural development and their health and wellbeing are a priority. Building strong, long-lasting relationships and providing effective pastoral support is embedded across the school. We develop all pupil\u2019s self-esteem and self-confidence so that they have a thirst for learning and achieve their full potential.<\/li>\n
  • We work in partnership with parents, governors, the community, relevant agencies and stakeholders to achieve our vision. Each year, we actively seek out local, national and international network and business links to gain financial support and utilise resources.. This strengthens our teaching and learning offer to all pupils in school.<\/li>\n
  • We are proud of the Meadows and promote our school, community, and city constantly, maintaining a high profile across the city and beyond to ensure our school, the children and their families are represented in a positive way.<\/li>\n
  • We are proud of our achievements and are committed to remaining in the top 10% of schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
